At the D47 Museum, following the previous two exhibitions on the theme of "sightseeing design" and "craft beer", this time the theme is "accessories". The exhibition "CUBE 1,2,3" is organized by the KANEIRI Museum Shop, which is a museum shop in the Hachinohe Portal Museum Hutch and Sendai Mediatheque, which are Tohoku culture spots. "ART GALLERY" is lined with works by world-famous Swedish potter Bernd Friedberg.

"Accessories" will be the theme of the exhibition from August 2nd at "d47 museum" that introduces manufacturing in 47 prefectures nationwide. From the era in which young people with rich sensibilities aim to leave the hometown and aim for the big city, to the era in which they will return to their hometown from the metropolis with the sophistication of the city, and marketing sensibilities and fashion consciousness of demand. At the venue, life-sized works produced by young generations active in various lands facing local traditional crafts will be introduced by prefecture. In "CUBE 1,2,3", "Hachinohe Portal Museum Hutch", "Sendai Mediatheque", and "KANEIRI Museum Shop" will exhibit works by KANEIRI Museum Shop for 13 days from 517 days to 529 days after the Great East Japan Earthquake. . From Hachichi, Kayo Ume, Masashi Asada, Hideo Tsuto worked on portrait photography exhibition of Hachinohe citizens (CUBE1), from Sendai Mediatheque a planned exhibition (CUBE3) that tells the road to recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, and KANEIRI from Tohoku. We will exhibit and sell the works of craftsmen in six prefectures and books to think about the future of Tohoku's manufacturing. Please take a look at part of the attractive Tohoku area.

From 8th August, "ART GALLERY" will hold an exhibition of works by Swedish-born ceramic artist Bernd Friedberg. Friedberg (1899-1981) is known for its delicate and graceful shaping and the beautiful colors produced by the glaze that has been studied. Friedberg's work, which pursued modern ceramic wares, added color to people's lives and was described as a "genius craftsman" in times when there was a movement to seek art for the masses around the world. His works have been loved by people around the world, including King Charles XVI Gustav of Sweden and photographer Robert Maplethorpe, and have been collected in museums around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY. Enjoy the beauty and strength that can also be seen as a sculpture.
