Admission ticket sales started at a new tourist spot “SHIBUYA SKY” 230 meters above the ground, just above Shibuya Station

Opened on November 1 SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE"Phase I (East Wing)" is a 46-storey large-scale complex facility with a height of about 230 meters above the ground at Shibuya's highest peak. The “composite” is said to be a mixture of commercial floors in the lower floors of the facility and innovation spaces and office floors in the middle and upper floors. Among the contents, the eye-catching space “SHIBUYA SKY” (approximately 2,500 square meters) spreads out on the rooftop space.

Even though it is the lowest building in Shibuya on the Suribachi landform, it is 230 meters above the ground. If you go up to the roof, you can get a panoramic 360-degree view of Tokyo's tourist attractions such as Mt. Fuji and Tokyo Sky Tree.

For example, the images displayed on 10 4K70-inch displays change with the actions of visitors, such as “TIME RIVER”, and images that visualize various Shibuya data on an LED display of about 30 square meters. An attempt to express Shibuya's “now” from a different perspective, such as “DATA SCAPE”, which combines the views of Shibuya in front of the rooftop. While visiting these three floors, you will feel the new charm of Shibuya that was not visible at ground level and visible level. In other words, it's a space close to the attractions of theme parks and amusement parks, not just a rooftop.

In addition, a cafe and bar space “Paradaise Lounge” and a souvenir shop “SHIBUYA SKY SOUVENIR SHOP” will be set up on the 46th floor, inbound for the next year's Olympics as well as in Japan. It is likely to become a new tourist spot that will serve as a receiver. Despite being one of Japan's leading business districts, traditional Shibuya lacked “sightseeing spots” and “tourism souvenirs”. With the opening of autumn, I would like to wait for the facility to become popular as a tourist spot like Tokyo Skytree.

Sales of SHIBUYA SKY admission tickets from November 1 (Friday) to November 30 (Saturday) on the opening date have been accepted on a first-come-first-served basis only on the website from September 1. Reservations can be made every 20 minutes from 9:00 to 22:00 (business hours from 9:00 to 23:00). Tickets for December and after will be sold on the day of the ticket, as well as online. The price is 1800 yen for adults (over 18 years old) with a web ticket, and the ticket for the ticket (same day ticket) is 2000 yen.
