The event "Let's make the town in Shibuya a Lego block" where children and a Lego certified professional builder make a town in Shibuya in Lego will be held at Shibuya Hikarie 8 / COURT on Sunday, January 28, 2018. Organized by the Shibuya Station Area Management Council and Shibuya Station Area Management. We are currently recruiting primary school children's participants on a dedicated website for the event.

The scale of the city is 1/300, the size is 1.5 x 1.8 meters. Designing and producing the Lego block and making the city in Shibuya with children on that day is Junpei Mitsui, the 13th person in the world who is the first Japanese LEGO certified professional builder. It is called "god" from Lego fan and it is known as a person with the world's highest production ability.

This time we are recruiting elementary school students who make city plan together with Mr. Mitsui. The event consists of two parts: "Lower grades (1st to 3th graders) department" (9:30 to 11:30) and "upper grades (fourth to sixth graders) department" (13:30 to 15:30) We plan to have children develop their "car" and "highway" which are set up in "Shibuya no Machi" produced by Mr. Mitsui. The recruitment capacity is 30 people in each department (excluding accompanying parents etc.), and in the case of a large number of applications, the participants are decided by lottery. There is no membership fee.

After the completion of Lego Block's “City of Shibuya” produced with the children, it is planned to be installed on the 11th floor of Shibuya Hikarie . Why don't you create your own city with your own hands?
