A cafe with a grandiose garden

Bonju! ! !

It's been getting really cold lately. So chilly, so chilly. My recent work is based on the theme of "New Japanese Classics," and I've been touring long-established establishments and restaurants that have been in business for 20 to 30 years. Everyone says the same thing: "We've just been doing what's natural." They complete everything from start to finish with their own hands. It's incredibly difficult, but they think it's natural. I think it's truly amazing. Another thing that really hits me is the interiors. Even the yakiniku restaurant was sparkling clean, which I was impressed by. A restaurant that feels good the moment you enter is sure to have delicious food. It was a tough job, but I'm glad I got to experience all these different restaurants. But, looking back, I realize I've been busy visiting a lot this year... I'll try to count how many restaurants I've visited this year. I'll report back in my next, final update of the year.

So, after all that rushing around and feeling completely exhausted, I discovered another cafe that soothes me. It's "TAS YARD," tucked away in Sendagaya 3-Chome. There's a garden outside the cafe, which is very relaxing. Inside, there are rows of cute wooden tables. They also sell miscellaneous goods like rain boots, blankets, and tableware. I stopped by after photographing sweet chocolate that day, so I was craving something salty, and ordered lasagna and Hoegaarden White.

The lasagna had a delicious sauce with plenty of minced meat! However, 1,000 yen for a bottle of Hoegaarden is a bit pricey... But it is a cafe, after all. If you want to drink, go somewhere else... They also had rice dishes like hamburger steak and pork ginger stir-fry. These looked delicious too, so I'll give them a try next time!
