駒場東大キャンパスの横、駒場公園内にある日本近代文学館の一角にある文学カフェ「BUNDAN COFFEE & BEER」。軽食やアルコール類を含むドリンクを楽しみながら、日本文学史を彩る名作からマニア垂涎の希少本まで、約2万冊の書籍を自由に読むことができる。また、夏目漱石、林芙美子ら明治から昭和初期にかけての名著の復刻本（日本近代文学館刊行）をはじめ、北原白秋や萩原朔太郎らが愛用した原稿用紙や江戸川乱歩の眼鏡、永井荷風のTシャツなど近代作家にまつわるグッズが販売されるなど、見どころ満載のスポットだ。

今回の「シブヤ×ブックス」は、文学カフェ「BUNDAN COFFEE & BEER」のプロデューサー・草彅洋平さんがブックセレクター。春と言えば、「別れと旅立ち」の季節。そこで、「出会いと別れ」をテーマに「BUNDAN COFFEE & BEER」の書棚のなかから3冊をピックアップしてもらった。希少本も多く陳列しているこのカフェならではのセレクション。文学との新たな出会いを提供してくれる「BUNDAN COFFEE & BEER」にぜひ足を運んでみてほしい。

1976年東京生まれ。渋谷を拠点とするクリエイティブカンパニー・東京ピストルの代表取締役兼編集者。文学好きが高じ、2012年に「BUNDAN COFFEE & BEER」をオープン。店内にある約2万冊の書籍はすべて草彅さん所蔵のもの。
