Born in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo on September 9, 1957 (Showa 32). Since he was interested in Toden and trolleybus since he was a child, he joined TOKYU CORPORATION 1976 (Showa 51) after graduating from Iwakura High School. After working at the Oimachi Station staff and a conductor on the Toyoko Line, he has been in charge of the Ikegami Line driver for 13 years since 1985. Then, after starting up the training center "training center" for station staff, the instructor of the center, preparation for opening the Yokohama High Speed Rail and Minato Mirai Station and the station chief, and in 2011 he has served as the station chief of the Toyoko Line Shibuya Station.

Finally, the TOKYU TOYOKO LINE and the Tokyo Metro Co.,Ltd. FUKU-TOSHIN LINE will begin mutual direct operation on March 16. Accordingly, Toyoko Line Shibuya Station, a ground station building that opened in 1927 (Showa 2), closes its long history of 85 years. Many of the station attendant working in the Tokyu line, my student

_ Will the train liked you from an early age?

Tokyu Bunka Kaikan, which was in the Shibuya Station East (photo = 1940s)

By the time of my children, in the age of streetcar and Toei trolley bus was running still a lot, have a look at the train driver's Toden What I want to drive myself a train. Tokyo in 1964 Olympic Games was held to open the Tokaido Shinkansen, at that time I had been told, "a dream of super-express Kodama No.", did it with their parents to see in Tokyo Station I remember that. But just bought a ticket, I though I was not me is put (laughs). The Shibuya at the time of about a junior high school student, there was a time that had been packed attend monthly to "Goto planetarium" that was in Tokyu Bunka Kaikan. Like a star, it is the era that had looked up at the sky as "somewhere I wonder if there are aliens." There is also a store that looked down the station from the roof of the Tokyu Bunka Kaikan. But did not use the Toyoko since lived in Edogawa-ku, at that time, the station does not have nearly changed the time and appearance.

Please let the journey _ from there until the motorman.

I joined a railway school called Iwakura High School in Ueno, and joined TOKYU CORPORATION Corporation in 1976 (Showa 51). At first I served as a station clerk at Oimachi Station for 6 years and 6 months, and for 2 years and 2 months on the Toyoko Line conductor area. Then I served as a driver on the Ikegami Line for 13 years. The vehicle I was driving at that time was the hanging type 3000. It is decided to be about 160 km on a daily basis, and the route distance on the Ikegami Line is 10.9 km, so it takes 7.5 round trips in a day.

After being served _ motorman is?

After working on the Toyoko Line Shibuya Station Chief and Nakameguro Station Deputy Director, he moved to the head office to make a teaching facility for station staff. After preparing the training center for drivers in the former Sumiyoshi in "Tkyukyu Training Center" for half a year, we set up a "Nurturing Center" and then, as a teacher for about a year and a half. At first it was a facility for fostering new employees, but it was necessary to take an examination to become a deputy by changing the system of the company, "You've had a lot of hardships, hardships and troubles. Take advantage of that experience and train you there. " Since that time, we have conducted training on contract workers, employees who have returned to work, etc. For example, when the Minato Mirai Line was opened, we employed 40 men over 50 who had no experience with station staff. There were a wide range of people, ranging from those who ran ramen shops to working in used book stores, and those who retired early from some listed companies. I was in charge of raising seniors in that life to station staff in a short time, but I had a hard time in the first effort (laughs). About one third of them are still at work, and they are all 60s, but they still work with motivation. Sometimes when I have a chance to meet, I laugh at each other with a joke saying "What is it, my dad, still alive?" It is no exaggeration to say that many of the station staff working at TOKYU CORPORATION now are my students.

_ It was opened in 2004. So you had been even in the preparation of the "Minato Mirai line".

Posting the name of the former stationmaster on the wall of the stationmaster room. Most left hair in the stationmaster.

The Yokohama Station-Sakuragicho Station on the Toyoko Line became an abandoned line, and we set up the opening team for the start of mutual direct operation with the Yokohama High-speed Railway Minatomirai Line. I am in charge of opening a new station as a deputy assistant of Minatomirai Station. After successful opening, he became the second generation stationmaster of Minato Mirai Station. After 10 months of serving as the station director, suddenly I came back from the head office (laughs). This time, I moved to a department called "Service Division" that supports various operations at the station. After that, after going through the center director of the training center, Shibuya Station on the Toyoko Line will start construction work, so I was transferred to the station director on November 1, 2011. After working at TOKYU CORPORATION for 37 years, I experienced a lot (laughs).

3000 type of hanging over the formula. Is are you driving, Kenai's Ikegami motorman era.

From "riding I am" to "I am to choose" era

_ In employment has been and at that time now, do you ever feel that Do has changed with the contents of the work at the station?

When I got a job, I was also doing the ticket cut. Chakachaka, Chakachaka and manually. First of all, I think it was instead to automatic ticket gate. It is great that mechanization has progressed. In addition to network with other railway companies have been expanding. I say to the entire after transportation but, barrier-free Progress was made. For example, customers and you use a wheelchair, to put even force on the guidance to, such as your handicapped customers of the eye, our station attendant qualifications of service assistants is expected to be to get everyone .

_ What are the reasons for the background?

In the past, railway it was a image of "riding I am." Now becomes intense line between the competition, or fast, or service is good, or cheap, such as whether the network is good, I mean that an increasing number of customer choice. Then the company specific, because I would like you to ride many people to customers, or to the convenient transfer consider the convenience, is why we consider the improvement and or run a limited express service level. Now "to choose I am in" times from the "ride I am."

Opening of the FUKU-TOSHIN LINE is also a big event.

When direct direct operation with Tokyo Metro Co.,Ltd.FUKU-TOSHIN LINE is started, customers in the Yokohama area will come to Ikebukuro, and customers in the Tobu Line and Seibu Line will come to Yokohama, Motomachi and Chinatown without a transfer. However, our work will be busy. The route will grow, so we have to remember the station name of each other's direct driving destination (laughs).

Is there a part that does not change in the opposite _?

"Right good, left good, foot beauty" of pointing and calling, finger and calling. It is, it will surely not change in semi-permanent safety. For example, on the work, there are times when you cross the line, but at that time, if you do not notice the train came to chatting or the Boke', you will be in trouble. When crossing and down or up the dangerous point is, finger and calling my language strictly prohibited. I am doing it repeated this.

Roundness of the barrel roof is characteristic Toyoko Line Shibuya Station premises. Has been popular as a huge terminal station crowded with many people.
